IMHO they offer small biz owners a chance to have a pro looking and functioning site that most people can make on their own. I have to balance how much time I have, to working on my site vs enhancing my products, and to me I think that I will have a life long relationship. Plus, when things get screwed up, wheteher by me or godaddy, their support is tops. I would gladly pay more for service to have good support. Good luck to us all!

My 2 cents….Have been an internet retailer for years. Go Daddy is my 3rd host and by far the best. Great partnership until today when I found they Resold my company domain to someone else and now offering to "negotiate" a price to get it back. My personal account only cost me 93.00 to get back. Its a hostage situation and they blame the "registrar" which also just happens to be godaddy. They told me this happened because my credit card expired which is false as my card always expires in June (have had this card for 20 years. I am so disappointed in this situation and the too bad attitude from what i thought was a reputable company.

I have had my accounts with GoDaddy for over 10 years.
