Adding Privacy to Expired Domain Auctions
Not what you're looking for?
We want your feedback!
Did you know that if you win an expired domain name in Go Daddy Auctions®, you can add Domains By Proxy® (DBP) Private Registration to it right away?
DBP Private Registration (also known as privacy) protects your identity by displaying its contact information in the Whois database instead of yours. For more information, see What is the difference between public and private domain name registration? and What is the Whois database?
To add DBP Private Registration to your expired domain name, simply select Private as the Registration Type when you go through the checkout. DBP sends you an email message that contains the login information for your new DBP account. It’s important that you retain the message for future reference.
For more information, see Purchasing Domain Names You Won.
