Customizing the standard templates available in Quick Blogcast™ is fairly easy to do.
There are a number of ways you can customize a template to change the look and feel of your blog. One of the simplest things you can do is change the background images. You can also further
customize your blog by overriding CSS styles. This approach is a bit more advanced and requires some CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) knowledge.
By now, a lot of you have discovered the new way to select similar templates for your associated WebSite Tonight, Quick Blogcast, and Quick Shopping Cart accounts. For those of you who haven’t, here’s a little background.
We’ve made it much easier to give your Web site, blog, and shopping cart a common look. Doing this makes your entire Web presence look more integrated and professional. Want to include Google ads in your blog entry? Now you can! In Quick Blogcast, you can use Google AdSense to create Google ads within the content of your blog entry.
You must have a Google AdSense account with a valid Google Publisher ID and a paid Quick Blogcast account to use this feature. This feature is not available in the free version of Quick Blogcast.

1. Click New Entry in the Manage Entries menu.

We’ve had many requests for templates with two sidebars and more flexibility, and now they are here! Gone are the days of your blog visitors scrolling to the very bottom of your blog to see all your sidebar widgets.
We redesigned the Sidebar Management page to make it simple and easy to manage your widgets and position them in either sidebar. Click here to view the help article.

Mac Safari users can now use the Quick Blogcast video tool to create video blog entries.
Just log into your account and go to Add Video under the Manage Entries menu. You will be prompted to install the Safari video plug-in; install this plug-in and restart the browser. Log back into your Quick Blogcast account and go back to the Add Video page.
You should see the following screen:
Even if you have different background images to replace those in your Site, your Store, and your Blog, you can quickly update all of them from the ‘Templates’ tab.
