Not what you're looking for?
We want your feedback!

I don’t know about you, but I like money. In fact, I look for any and every opportunity to make more of it. Do you have something you want to sell online? If you do, here’s how to make money online in 7 steps.

  1. Purchase Quick Shopping Cart® — This template-based Web application gives you an online store where you can showcase your products to anyone in the world.
  2. Set up your store information — This is where you provide information about your business to customers, so they know who you are and what you’re selling.
  3. List your products — Adding products to your online store’s catalog is the most important part of your online store. You can upload images of your products for customers to see, and then tell them how your products will benefit them.
  4. Set up payment information — There are numerous ways to transact money online, and you get to pick which one works best for you. You can choose whether you want customers to pay you with a credit card directly through your website, using PayPal®, or simply call you and pay over the phone.
  5. Set up tax information — If you need to charge tax on your orders, we make it painless to set up.
  6. Set up shipping — When customers purchase your products, you can give them options for how they will receive it. You can choose from popular shipping methods such as FedEx®, UPS®, and USPS®.
  7. Publish — You’re ready to start selling your products online, click the Publish button and start making money. We even have you covered for mobile users. You can automatically publish a mobile version of your storefront optimized for smartphones.

Don’t worry about remembering each step. When you log in to your Quick Shopping Cart account, the steps are listed across the top of your screen.

Is it possible to use this shopping cart from Russia ?

  • by rabblebabble on December 15th, 2012

I don’t want a shopping cart. I just want to be able to add the code for items from Amazon and other places. And I can’t get the code added anywhere.

Nothing answers my questions about how to add Amazon code. This whole set up on godaddy is far from easy. I am tremendously disapppointed!!!!

@ rabblebabble. Yes you are correct. Go Daddy needs a high level competitor. Their website tonight is truly atrocious and very, very generic.

Send out press releases, flood the web with free releases to inform the public as a starting point.

@rabblebabble. I would use a wordpress template. That’s my next step.

    Hi
I also have been asking about the html code placement for goods form amazon with no response from anyone. If you find out please let me know and i find the godaddy web site builder so very hard to use, ive spent hours trying to figure it out with no joy. Time to go to another web site builder.

Just wondering is there is a time frame for receiving orders?
I got my website, products, shopping cart, SSL, keywords, tags, Facebook, published, launched all that know was needed in Nov. and not one inquiry or sale. I am beginning to feel all that work was for nothing? Any suggestion or words of encouragement?

To be honest it is very very far from easy, and it would help to know BEFORE hand that you can only add bulk inventory using an Excel Product Template, and bulk assign images using Excel Image Template. If you are considering the Quick Shopping Cart, then please be aware that if you have a very large inventory, different varieties and such, it will probably take a few days to more than a week just to have your site fully ready to publish because of how manual the most important stuff is.
