that’s what i needed to create a fresh website quickly, with no experience of technology anyone can be an owner of a website and do his business successfully, the great part of this new version is that you can drag and drop objects easily..

    thank you godaddy

Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Go Daddy for the new Website Builder design. I have had websites with Go Daddy for a few years now and have been relatively happy with Website Tonight. When I began updating one of my large existing websites, I realized I had to convert the entire website over to the new Website Builder design. I felt a wave of panic flow through my body, but soon remembered that Go Daddy had never let me down, so why panic.

I have now spent the better part of the day with Website Builder and have discovered that I like the new design better than Website Tonight. With the exception of Website Builder freezing up twice, I had no problems; and that was probably not an issue with Website Builder as much as it was with Internet Explorer 9.

Thanks again for the incredible upgrade.

I can’t log in to my website builder?

  • by gunckels on October 13th, 2012

If I upgrade to Website Builder and already have my domain and hosting with GoDaddy and a website, will I need to do any other modifications? (i.e will the site stay up until I update the template, do I need to transfer anything, link old website, etc.) Thanks-

Oh, how to pull your hair out! I have an established website and it’s taken me a long, long time to get it just the way I want it and now, with the new version of website builder, it has screwed up the format of my old version. Augggggghhhh!!!
When I go in to edit it, everything looks fine, but when I enter it like one of my customer’s would, it’s all off kilter. I’m very anal about everything being perfect and this is driving me crazy. Last week I found my paypal wasn’t working and I didn’t have time to try and fix it, but in the meantime it seems to have fixed itself. I wish that would happen with the formatting, but I kind of don’t think it will. Can someone tell me what to do in order to get it back to the way it was looking before?

I honestly don’t like what they GoDaddy calls the NEW website builder. They removed quiet good features such the option to change the navigation bar if you didn’t like the one the actual template. They removed the page layout options and replaced them for what they call columns.

In summary they removed many of the good features, and I’m considering moving to another site builder such as Wix if they don’t make it user friendly and put back the old features. What a pain is to work with the new website builder.

I need to build a fairly large Web site (about 80 pages) with Website Builder. For this to make sense I need submenus, otherwise it becomes impossible to find a page. Maybe I am too dumb but I ran back and forth the instructions and help and failed to find any reference to submenus. Everything else was easy and precise. Do you know where to find this?

  • by professor1234 on October 31st, 2012

I am experiencing similar problems to the ones described by jeffk734. The only difference is that I can edit text and images on one computer but not my primary computer. I have tried using multiple browsers to no avail. Support tells me it’s a problem with add ons, but I have compared add ons on both computers and they are identical. Very frustrating.

I cannot believe that this version does not allow you to upload PDF files .. i am having to go back to version 6.12 …. shouldn’t be going backward a version .. needs to be fixed

  • by kendramills on May 8th, 2013

Is it still the 90s or what? This is the most ridiculous website builder I have ever seen. I will be calling “support” tomorrow to get refunded for the crappy site builder I paid $83 for! I have seen free web builders with a more satisfying appeal!!
