Known Issue: Adding Privacy to .XXX Domain Names
Gen_HIf you purchase a .xxx domain name with Domains By Proxy® private registration, you’ll receive emails from the .xxx registry. Here’s what you can expect:
When you register multiple .xxx domain names with privacy, the registry will generate multiple membership ID invitations, but only one ID needs to created/activated. The ICM registry will send a membership ID invitations to the unique email addresses associated with those private domain names (e.g., domainname.xxx@domainsbyproxy.com).
Ex. If you register 27 .xxx domain names with privacy, you will receive 27 membership ID invitation emails.
You only have to act on and create one membership ID, no matter how many invitations you receive. One membership ID can be associated with all your .xxx domains. Click here for more info.
