New Easy Database Features Are on the Move!
The Easy Database team just added three new exciting features this week – Check ‘em out!
- Move Columns — Yep, you read that right! This highly-requested feature provides you with more control of your column layout in your Tables. When you mouse-over the column title, you can click the < or > arrows to move the column left or right. Or, if you’re using a modern browser you can simply drag and drop.
- Anchor Text — Use Anchor in Hyperlink columns to display alternate text or an image in place of the URL. Easy Database adds another column with the same name followed by #Text where you can specify text or an image. You can even add it to existing columns!
For example, if you create a column with the title Link, a column titled Link#Text is also added. Enter the URL in the Link column, and then enter the custom text or image for the link in the Link#Text column. When you create a widget that displays the hyperlink column, the anchor text displays in place of the hyperlink.
- Decimal Places — You can enable Decimal places in Numbers and Currency columns. This feature adds a decimal at the specified location and rounds up the last digit.
For example, if you specify to add the decimal 2 spaces in, the number 123.123 would be updated to display as 123.12, rounding the last digit. In currency columns, the decimal space defaults the location of the decimal for the currency specified in your account settings. For more information about setting currency, see Setting Display Preferences in Easy Database for Websites.

From beginners to pros, working with your database has never been easier. Nice resource !
(i) The comment feature of the Go Daddy blog do not always work. Why? (ii) I would like to see a column heading sort feature similar to shown at ******************. This would be ideal!
