Outlook Easy Setup is Here

Topic: Email

If you are using a PC and intend to use Outlook® to send and receive email, we recommend you enable Outlook Easy Setup before attempting to set up your email.

NOTE: If you registered your domain with another registrar, or are hosting with or using the DNS of another party, you cannot use this feature. This feature is also not compatible with versions of Outlook for Mac®.

Basically, the Outlook Easy Setup feature creates an “autodiscover” entry under the SRV (Service) record in the domain’s Zone file. This record includes all the information Outlook needs to allow you to set up an email account, such as host name and port number. Then, when you set up your Outlook account, all you need to do is enter your email address and password, and the SRV record does the rest!

Enabling this awesome new feature is easy. Check out this Help article for more information.

Hi, I have a major problem with this Go daddy thing, every time I make an alteration to the site I sit and watch as few minutes later someone else changes the alterations I have made – it might seem funny to someone but they are one sad fuck and I wish that they would leave my site alone -

I have a MACBook Pro laptop I purchased in 2012. I have tried to set up my email on the internal mail application of the PC and also with Outlook (which I am currently using for my personal mail) and I cannot get either one to accept my address or recognize the server. I successfully set up the e-mail on my IPhone and IPad so I was expecting the same ease in set up for my MacBook. Now that I am reading more to find a solution it appears you don’t support either one. Is this correct? If so I’ll quit knocking myself out to make it work. I am very disappointed however, as I use my MacBook as my main tool for communication. It’s a little tedious to type extensive information on a mobile device, if you know what I mean.

Can you help me with this?

Hi Guys, sorry to trouble you again but I am having difficulty getting my web site seen. Can you have a look at the html, tags etc as I am sure I have cocked up somewhere along the way. We are a supplier of picnic tables for garden and patio, ideal for pubs and restaurants etc.
You can access the site and sort it out which would be great.

I set up my Outlook email after getting my new computer. I was able to set up without problem, have been using for mail until today. Somewhere along the lines I am no longer getting emails or can see my old emails saved. I reviewed the set up and it says it is ok. Any suggestions before I put in a ticket to check it out?

An attention-grabbing discussion is price comment. I feel that it is best to write extra on this topic, it may not be a taboo topic but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

Fail. I’ve tried every possible configuration in outlook 2010 and can’t get outgoing mail to work. It doesn’t work on my phone either so it’s not an issue on my end.

I cant seem t access my email when I save the link to my desktop and lost a possible sale because I did not get notification. I got notification for another one and realized that one got away. How can I be sure this doesn’t happen again. I really would prefer to use my own email address.
