Smooth New Move in Easy Database for Websites
SteveS21Easy Database for Websites is an awesome tool for sorting, filtering and listing data on your website. Now it’s even more awesome!
A new feature in Easy Database for Websites lets you filter displayed information by hidden columns. This is the feature you have been clamoring for.
To understand how it works, let’s use an example of a baseball collection:
On the Edit Widget page, click the Cards column heading and choose filter.
In this case we use the brand Topps. Now, only rows with Topps in the cards column display in the data grid widget. Like in this screen shot:
But what if you want to get rid of the word Topps displaying in every row? All you have to do is deselect the Cards column in the Result Fields to hide that column. Like so:
The filtering criteria, however, will remain. As you can see in the screen shot below, the Cards column is hidden. Redundancy, eliminated!
Be sure to click Save to save the widget and complete the process. You now have a data widget filtered by a hidden column!
