Just finished transferring my domain to another host. Just one customer, and one domain, but the fact that you could have supported this at any point in time is unacceptable.

Sorry GoDaddy, you guys were active supporters until it started costing you money.. and now you decide to change your stance. I do not believe this is genuine, I will transfer the remainder of my hosting & domains to another service. today.

I host over 60+ websites and control more than a hundred domain names at godaddy.

I am sickened with the thought that godaddy had been working behind the scenes to help craft this junk legislation.

If they can flip flop this way, they can flip flop the other way. I’m ready to move all my business at the drop of a hat should they support SOPA or PIPA.

I’m glad I wont need to transfer my account. Though I do hope that you are also opposed to PIPA. If you are not… well I’m sure we will be seeing more customers migrating.

TBH, I was shocked when I found out GD was in support of such bills to begin with. What did you honestly think would happen with your customers?

Do you really think this Bill will do the Net and everyone good?? There are other ways to stop bootleggers, imposing laws that remove our Freedom of Speech is not one of them.

Please fight the good fight.

I’ve hosted my domain names here for many years (as well as referred many clients to GoDaddy over the years) and am saddened that GoDaddy would actually consider supporting the SOPA originally. Flip-flopping because you lose customers but is not how you really feel just makes things look even worse. Sticking to your guns would make people respect you more…one way or the other.

I’ve been surfing the net for over 22 years. Yes, there are things that need to be changed such as copyright infringement of software and music across many sites all over the world. But this is not the way to achieve it.

I will be moving my domains and making sure that all of my friends on the net, the many people I’ve helped start websites, and future friends do not support such businesses as this one.

So, Im curious to know who you all are going to get your hosting from. Just because GoDaddy made a stance and changed it doesn’t mean you should go somewhere else that hasn’t even proclaimed their intentions. What a fickle unhappy bunch of people you all are.
