Turning MySmartSpace into a Daily-Use Site
DomMySmartSpace is a powerful and easy to configure “dashboard” that comes free with a SmartSpace account. Most people find MySmartSpace in the navigation header in the Site Builder (aka start.yourdomainname.tld).
The light bulb is your Site Building Space. To the right of the icon are the spaces you can create, delete, and modify. Clicking one of those icons brings you to MySmartSpace. This gives you quicker and easier access directly to MySmartSpace.
If you’re techie like me, you might have noticed a new A record for “my.” This record allows you to go directly to MySmartSpace, bypassing the Start page. You are required to log in each time, unless you’ve already logged in to another area associated with your domain, then our “Single Sign-On” will have logged you in.
Remember Me Checkbox
Ok, this feature is a little harder to find. First, log out if you’re already logged in. Then, go to https://app.mysmartspace.me. You should see three fields and a Remember Me checkbox.
Enter in your credentials, select Remember Me and you are logged in to MySmartSpace. Then, you can simply go to my.yourdomainname.tld and have quick access to your personal spaces and widgets.
