WHMCS Security Advisory
LeslieIf you have a server running cPanel hosted with us, you should know that the developers of WHCMS (an add-on commonly used by cPanel customers) have recently released a critical update to address a recently discovered security vulnerability.
Although we do not directly offer WHCMS to our customers, we are aware that you might have chosen to install this add-on to your server. If you have installed WHCMS, please read and follow the patching instructions provided by the WHCMS developers carefully. A link to these full instructions is below.
Please note that we are offering these instructions to you as a courtesy – we have not tested or validated the patch provided by the WHCMS developers and we make no claims as to the effectiveness of this patch. As always, we strongly recommend backing up your server before making any changes.
