.XXX General Availability Has Arrived!

Gen_HToday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. Arizona time marks the beginning of the General Availability phase for .XXX top-level domain names (TLDs).
.XXX General Availability
- $99.99 for the first year. ICANN charges an additional 18¢ fee per year of registration.
- .XXX domain names are registered on a first come, first served basis.
- Domains By Proxy® (DBP) private registration, Protected Registration, and Deluxe Registration will be available for new .XXX domain names during the checkout process or once your pre-registered .XXX domains are active in your account.
.XXX Membership ID
- An Adult Sponsored Community membership is required if you plan to use your .XXX domain or publish content. An email is sent to all registrants regarding the simple, free membership process. For more information, see Managing .XXX Membership IDs.
- An Adult Sponsored Community membership is not required if you buy a .XXX domain with no plans to use it (defensive registration). Defensive registrations are subject to registration and annual renewal fees.
Pre-registered .XXX Domain Names
- Pre-registered General Availability applications will be submitted, and if successful, will result in registered or blocked .xxx domain names. If the domain name is not captured, a refund will be submitted. Active .xxx domains and refunds might take 24-48 hours.
- Unsuccessful Sunrise B applicants will not receive a refund.
- Notices for Sunrise AT, Sunrise AD, and Landrush domain names resulting in auction will be submitted and sent out soon.
