Can’t get into my admin page of WordPress

I am new at using WordPress but I have been using it for 2 days without a problem.
Today I wanted to see if the forwarding feature would work(mind you, I have not uploaded my site yet). I forwarded the URL to a different URL, and all I get is the 404 site. I took off the forwarding and even after a few hours I still get the 404 site.
First of all, I am not sure until tomorrow if the unforwarding took place. But if I still get 404, what am I doing wrong?
Second of all, once I do upload my site, would I forward the site the way I tried at the beginning of this message?

In order to use our forwarding service your domain must be using our forwarding IP address 68.202.189.170 which is different from the hosting IP address your domain is likely resolving to after setting up your hosting plan. Once you upload your site, I am not sure where you would want to forward it. You should just have your A record (IP address) pointed to your hosting plan so that your uploaded files will display online. If you run into any issues please feel free to reply and be sure to include your domain name so that we can take a look at it’s configuration with you.
