Is there a way to add an event to the Event Calendar without having to add a start/end time? My calendar is a school calendar. For instance I have an event that is “School Spirit Week” I select 04-9 to 04-13. However I do not want to select a time or “All Day” I just want the calendar to show School Spirit Week.

If you want an event to show up on your calendar for an entire week, then the All Day option is what you want to use. You can select the start and end times for the days of the week you want for the event and then select All Day. That’ll show up on the calendar as one event that spans the entire selected dates.

thank you for your response. However I DO NOT want the event to show “All Day” and I do not want the events to show a start and end time. I just want the events to display only the event. ie: Spring Break. There is no start/end time for spring break, and it is not an “All Day” event. I know how to get the event to span more than one day.

@snopsie

The only option when adding your events currently is to select a start/end time or ‘All Day’. I’ll pass this suggestion along to our developers for future consideration.

@snopsie -

There are a couple of options for your case. If you want to be able to share the event with others then all-day is the only real option. However if it’s only for your own calendar, you may want to try creating a custom holiday. Check out the “Holiday Settings” section at this url:
