Delete Personal Calendar?

Is it possible to delete the personal calendar and just have a group calendar?? (Our business is only using a group calendar.) It seems to be a bit confusing as to which calendar is actually open, since there is no calendar name at the top of the open calendar. I have the group calendar set to open by default, but it seems that when I go into calendar settings, it reverts to the personal calendar.

The personal calendar is the place where events are stored that you’re attending if they aren’t on a group calendar that you have access to. If you really don’t use your personal calendar, I’d suggest just clicking on it and it should grey out and not display its events in your view.

+1 for the ability to delete the Personal Calendar, or at least allow the user to set the default calendar when creating an event.
We use it for the entire family, nobody uses it for a personal calendar, so each time an event is created by anybody we need to remember to select the drop down menu *each and every time*. Sometimes somebody forgets to select the correct calender, in which case nobody else can see it…

+2 for allowing the user to set the default calendar when creating an event! Also when receiving event invitations. When I accept an invite I need that on the group calendar. Right now I click accept and it notifies me that the event has been added to my Personal calendar. Grrrr, I only want to use the group calendar!!

Was there ever an option created to use the Group Calendar as the default for adding an event.
By boss uses this as well as the rest of our company and we have often forgotten to select our group calendar from the drop down menu. This has caused missed appointments, etc.

No, selecting a default calendar when adding an event has not been an available feature. I can definitely see the value of this type of customization and will forward the request to our developers. Thank you for posting on our support forum!
