Since I updated to Lion on my MacBook Pro, iCAL will not sync with my CALDAV calendar. Appointments uploaded from e-mail are correct when viewed on calendar.secureserver.net, but items that I post in iCAL will not upload to CalDav. I have reinstalled CalDav in iCAL with no luck. I do not get any error message with this, that the calendar will just not go online. Anyone know how to correct this???

@999alchemist

There is currently a known issue with using iCal and Mac OS Lion during the synchronization process with iCal. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, however, we are unable to provide an exact time frame as to when the issue will be resolved. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter and apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks…

Just an FYI, one of my collegues had the same issue, however, this was resolved when he reloaded his calendar.

@999alchemist

I have received an update from development that this issue has been addressed. If reloading the calendar is still not addressing the issue, I would recommend providing a screen shot of the settings that you are using in iCal along with the specific issue to support@godaddy.com for further review.

My calendars loaded fine very briefly then stopped. Sometime around updating the OS. I get the following error on both cals

“The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “caldav.secureserver.net” failed.”

When you say reload above, are you saying to delete and reinstall the cal information? BTW – it works fine with my ipad and iphone. Although I can no longer invite attendees to meetings. I guess that’s question number 2…

I second mc93. I can’t get my calendar to synch on Lion. I receive the error “The account “xxxx” currently can’t be refreshed.” and I don’t know what 999alchemist means by “reload”. I deleted and re-setup the calendar with no positive results.

Moreover, like mc93, CALdav works fine on iPad and iPhone but I cannot add attendees to meeting invites on iOS5. Perhaps this should be a new thread.

@deadmanonleave and @mc93

I was able to review the issue with our advanced support team again and the issue should be resolved at this time. As you continue to experience an issue with adding attendees to meetings we will need you to reach out to our Support Team directly with your account information for additional investigation.

Wanted to jump in and let all of you on this thread know that our Development Team is aware of errors affecting iCal/Lion/Calendar. They are being addressed, however I do not have a time frame to offer at this time. When additional information becomes available, I will update this thread.

Tim B and Jason – Thank you both very much for your posts and for trying to keep us updated.

I would like to mention that I have called into support twice for this issue (as previously suggested) and the only response I get is “Group Calendars are not supported by CALdav”. And then I’m sent a copy of the set-up article that I’ve seen 4,000 times and I’m basically given the blackjack clap. It’s very frustrating.

Sorry to vent.

Any updates from Godaddy where we are with this issue please? It does not seem that big of a problem to solve?

I do not yet have a time frame for a resolution to this matter. As soon as we have additional information we will post it here.

Checking back in to see if there is any resolution. I have called twice and gotten an assurance it would be fixed in 72 hours – this was about a week ago. Still having the problem. I use all my cals and switched over to godaddy so I could tie them all in – I don’t want to switch again because of the pain, but I gotta do what keeps my small businesses running smoothly – help!!!!

@mc93

I have reached out to our development team and they are currently working to resolve a few different errors with the sync between Group Calendar and Mac OS X Lion iCal 5.0. They are currently requesting additional information from you in order to determine the exact error you are receiving and would like for you to provide this information directly to our Support Team for proper and efficient handling.
