As a current online Calendar user I am very disappointed in the lack of assistance for the product. Calendar quit working on 1 computer and will say a “another installation in progress. Complete this installation before proceeding wiht this install”. I get the same message if I try to un-install the program and was told by GoDaddy support that they could not help me. Since I can’t use the product they can only tell me how to cancel auto-renew and would not cancel and refund for unusable product. GREAT SUPPORT!!!!

I like the program but I do have two suggestions.

First make a way to sync the calendar with a mobile device.. whether an android, iPhone, windows mobile phone.. there should be an easy way to do this.

Also I’d like to see a way to have multiple calendars at one location.. so for example I might have a calendar that is just for my soccer team and the other is my work schedule, but I have them all on one calendar so I can see everything at once.

I am also havins problems with support with this product. I can’t get it to sync correctly with Microsoft Outlook. The people I talked to on the phone know very little about how to help with the calander (they have helped with other website and email questions)

2. I would like the calander to include a feature that allows to highlight different events different colors, so that certain events are easy to differenciate at a glance.

I like the Calendar service and haven’t had any issues. I have a photography business and use it for all of my appointments and scheduling. Because I am on the road a lot all of my email is done with web mail sync’d to my Blackberry. My only complaint is that since I do not use Outlook I can not sync my BB with the Calendar! PLEASE create and app to work DIRECTLY with BB and Calendar!!! PLEASE!

Calendar provides a way to create/view multiple calendars via the “New Group” button. Using a group, you can create as many calendars as you need.

After the calendars are created, a red “X” or green “Checkmark” is displayed to the left of the calendar name in the left hand column. Clicking on the “X” or “Checkmark” will make the each calendars events appear or hide on the main Calendar page.

With this feature, you can display many different types of events on the main calendar page.

I was having the same issue with un-installation, after a computer reboot however I managed to get the ogcsnsetup file to remove and reinstall. After that it synched easily with Microsoft Outlook. However, I am still having an issue with it shutting down on me with the outsync.exe file.

How many times does it take does it take to edit the calendar and for it to show up??? I am not a Geek by any means but it is getting more and more a Pain to keep this site updated! I enter the information and Publish then nothing… WTH!! What am doing wrong?? It took 5 times before the calendar finally appeared after Publishing. Sheeeshhhh

I have tried 7 different times to add a “new group” only to have to hit the cancel button because hittig the save button did nothing, therefore, I was unable to add a new group. What a piece of crap. I would have liked to create a calendar that all of my students could look at, but it doesn’t work.

I am sorry to hear that you were encountering issues with adding groups. When you were attempting to create groups within your Calendar account, were you making sure to follow the steps outlined in the following article?

Creating Calendar Groups

Was there any specific error message being generated when you tried to save a new group? Was this tested through more than one internet browser?

I am using Event Calendar, but dismayed it does NOT display the current day in some way that highlights it. This would be a very useful feature and hope GoDaddy will upgrade Event Calendar to include this. Since the website is for a community, it is a more critical component!

Since you mentioned this being for a community website, I believe you are referring to the Event Calendar that is part of our Website Tonight services and not our Online Calendar; which was the focus of this discussion.
