Hi

If I want to point a domain to my hosting account here at GoDaddy, what DNS details do I need to use?

Thanks

JP

@jproux

It sounds like the domain is not registered with us. You can use the steps under ‘To Set Nameservers for a Domain Name Registered Elsewhere and Hosted with Us’ in the following link to locate the nameservers you will want to set your domain to.

Hi

Step 6 of the article does not make sense. It says ‘Select the domain name you want to use, and then click OK.’ But I have not purchased the domain from GoDaddy – I purchased it elsewhere so I can’t select the domain name in my GoDaddy account?? The domain name will not be there.

Help please

JP

If you have already added the domain to your hosting plan, it will be listed within the DNS Manager using the steps provided within the help article. If you have not yet added your domain to your hosting plan you can use this article:
