I opened a hosting account last month to use with designbypmw.com on the economy plan which works great, and just recently I have been asked if I could host a friend’s website too. On the 18 April I upgraded my account to Deluxe and at the same time purchased phbuildingcontractors.com to add to it.

Since then the Domain Manager has been saying that it is ‘not hosted here’ and although I’ve tried setting it to ‘I have a hosting account with these domains.’ and waiting 48 hours, it’s still not available.

Please can someone let me know how I fix this?

You will need to point the domain’s A record to the hosting account’s IP address. Here’s how to:

Locate the IP

Update the A record

You won’t be able to manage the DNS in your account if the domain is in another account.
