Blog software compatible with Front Page extensions

I want a blog that is http://www.mysite.com/blog (not blog.mysite.com) and I need software that is compatible with Front Page extensions. I can’t use Godaddy’s templates because they only do a blog.mysite.com If I go to the other software that they recommend the only one on the list that is compatible is “dadblog” which apparently is an old site that is no longer updated. Can anyone tell me another blog software I can use?

Hi, it sounds like you are looking for help finding software, rather than help creating a new website. The Design Services is where the Dream Design Team can create a website or webstore for you.
Are you looking to add blogging to your current website, and do you have that website hosted here?
Is there a reason you don’t want to use a subdomain?
Did you create your site in FrontPage, is that why you need FrontPage extensions?
If so, you may want to look at some of the blogs that are available in your Hosting Connections – here is some information on how easy it is to add an application:

adding-quickinstall-applications-to-your-shared-hosting-account
Hopefully this helps you, or with a little more information we can get you pointed in the right direction.

Hi Mandi,
Thanks for your reply. Let me explain a little bit. Unfortunately I started with Front Page and because I needed a contact us form I had to use FP extensions. I need a http://www.mysite.com/blog page because it is then a sub directory which can pass through links to my home page enhancing my link numbers. Godaddy blog software only allows for a blog.oldeworldelace.com page which is a sub domain page and doesn’t pass on the links. All of my keywords lead to my URL on Google’s 1st page so I can’t redo my site to .aspx. It would revise my ranking and that is very scary. When I went to the blog software listing page in Godaddy the only software listed that is compatible with FP extensions is an old site that hasn’t had a posting since 2009.
I think I am stuck unless someone can come up with compatible blog software. I do appreciate your effort.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with any other blogging platform that would be compatible with your current configuration. Hopefully other members of the Community will be able to offer their advice if you are still searching for a solution.

Thank you all for your help. I did solve the problem by figuring out that I only needed the FP extensions because I had a contact form for customers to fill out and send back. I found mycontactform.com that does one in html that has their own database so I could use their form on my site but use their database. I got rid of the FP extensions and am much happier.
Thanks to both of you.
