500 Internal Server Error

I own djeffries.com and tried to authenticate the website to use Google Analytics. Now I’m getting this error message “500 Internal Server Error” and am unable to log into the back end of the website, if that makes sense. It essentially times out.

Is that something that happened when you tried to setup Google Analytics? Did you upload something as part of that, or provide any account information? I’m wondering if this process made any changes to your site, and if so, what would happen if you undid them. It sounds kind of like something changed to cause this.
Can you post back with some more information about what was involved in that setup?

I left it alone for about an hour, and when I came back to it, it worked. I’m guessing whatever outage affected Gmail was the same thing that affected this. Basically to authenticate the analytics widget, you have to log in to Google and authorize that plugin to access your analytics account. Upon logging into the Google Analytics account is when the problems began, but I’m still not sure how it would affect the entire website, since GoDaddy is my host, not Google.
