I believe you are referring to http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/6237. This article only applies if you are using cPanel. Is that the control panel you are using or are you using a different one? Once we know the control panel you are using we should be able to find some additional information on how to enable cURL.

It appears you are working with a shared hosting plan. We support cURL in all of our Linux hosting plans.

Having the same problem. My site is registered and hosted by GoDaddy. I tried to follow those instructions and can’t find the “find” box to type “easy” into, or EasyApache at all for that matter. This is a screenshot of what I think is my CPanel: http://i.imgur.com/Eqmmm.jpg

The provided screen shot indicates that you are working with a shared hosting plan. cURL is enabled on all of our shared Linux hosting plans. You will be required to manually enable cURL.
