ok..id like to use a flash galley that links to an xml that will load images contained in photos directory.
this has been tested on other platforms and hosting sites and works fine, but not here on godaddy.
the flash loads perfect, but not the images.
i just wondered what paramaters i wouldneed to change in either the flash file or the .xml.

thanks for the advice Jasonp….everything is resolved now…i managed to solve the riddle just a few minutes ago.
it was all to do with the way i had set up the HTML coding…now that is solved and i can view the images in the flash files on a test html.

Thanks. turned out to be an issue in dreamweaver cs4 and its a good tip for anyone else who may encounter the issue.
the problem arises if you choose to insert .swf..it seems to create a level of code that cant be interpreted once uploaded.
the advice for others who encounter this issue is to take the code from the html file that is generated in adobe flash when the swf is created and published, then paste this across to your html file in dw4.
this seems to bypass the glitch and allows you to view the images as well as allow the flash gallery to access the .xml straight away.
hope that makes sense ;-D
