Domain Name to Web Hosting

I purchased a domain name from go-daddy then about a month later I purchased web hosting from go-daddy . I can’t lanuch it as the launch page tells me that the domain is currently taken which is of course mine.
This is my first time setting up a web site so any advice would be appreciated.

This error generally indicates that the domain name is setup on another service in your account, such as WebSite Tonight or InstantPage. If the domain name is setup on another service, you would first need to cancel that service.

Thanks for your info .I did sign up for ” Standard Search Engine Visibility ” thru Go Daddy at the same time I purchased the hosting and this was all done weeks after I had already purchased the domain. Would that cause this problem ? If so how does one go about canceling it so I can launch the website as it has been purchased for a one year term ?
