What is Off site DNS?
molisk said 1 year, 9 months ago:

Two days ago I changed one of my domains mama-birds.com (which is hosted on WordPress) DNS setting to my go daddy account:
mns01.domaincontrol.com
mns02.domaincontrol.com

My question is why can’t I see my domain appearing on it?
And What is Off Site DNS?
Why the status of mama-bird.com showing pending?

Please help

I just checked the whoisdomaintools and it is showing the following:
Domain servers in listed order:
MNS01.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
MNS02.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
This clearly means the domain should be active on Godaddy by now. Why is still pending?

@molisk
By showing Pending, I’m assuming you mean it says Pending Transfer. This is OK and just means that if the domain were to ever be transferred to us then the zone file would be saved with the current edits rather than automatically changing to the Parked settings. You should be able to edit the zone file at this point however, and direct the domain’s IP address to your wordpress account, etc.

Please clarify for me what more information you need. Your primary concern seemed to be about the domain showing Pending. If this isn’t the case then please let me know so I can give you further information.

@molisk – Off-Site DNS would be for a domain that is not registered here and not hosted here.
With the Premium DNS you are able to set-up a Zone File here before transferring a domain.
But as pauldc pointed out you’ll need to provide more information, as the question is not quite clear exactly what you are asking.

The only thing I’m concerned about is how to activate it. Pending status won’t allow me install my theme on it. No body is telling me how to fix the issue.

“You should be able to edit the zone file at this point however, and direct the domain’s IP address to your wordpress account, etc.”
Can you explain how to do that?
