This is a general error and could be caused by a few different things, however it is typically related to a scripting issue. To further troubleshoot the error you will want to enable detailed errors using a web.config file. The steps in the following link show you have to enable detailed errors.

thanks Steve, but now i cant even open my FTP panel, it says “could’nt get the directory info”.
