If you need to upload any files to your site, this is done with FTP. Information on uploading your files via FTP can be reviewed in this article:

Thank you for your response. Let me explain the cause of my dilemma. My MAC crashed and had to be wiped. I didn’t save my completed web site on a hard drive or flash drive and there are a few things I want to change. I want to retrieve my files off of Go Daddy and put them back on my computer so I can change them

If you are looking to download your site files, this can also be done via FTP. You can use the steps referenced in the article I provided to connect to your hosting plan with FTP, but then instead of uploading files you can choose to download them.
