Bad propagation of nameservers

Hello

I upgraded my server last month for a site hosted on HostGator, and changed the nameservers on GoDaddy.
The propagation went well in the US and Canada, apparently, but is going wrong in France.

One month elapsed, but people in France still end up on the old server.
Is there a way to re-propagate the correct IP address associated with my web site ?
Do you know any way to solve this issue ?

Thanks in advance

Hello Glad,

It sounds like you have done everything you should have. More then likely the user would need to refresh their local cache, if that did not correct the issue they would need to contact their ISP to update DNS cache for the ISP.

A very odd problem, especially for a change that was made last month, most computer or ISP caches should have updated by now.

Hope this helps.

Hello Charles,

Thank you for your reply. I’m glad it was not my fault.
I re-typed the nameservers to launch a second propagation, but I’m not sure it will be useful.

It also seems refreshing our local cache doesn’t solve the problem.
I will try to contact some ISPs, as the problem certainly remains there.

Thanks !
