If the domain is in your account, you definitely own it. For new registrations, the domain resolves to our parked page, however in your case, I can see that it resolves to a Go Daddy hosting server. I would recommend contacting our Support Team directly to review the account.

If you have your own hosting provider, you can edit the DNS at anytime.

Hi Jason, Thanks for your reply. I have sent them an email and I will wait for their reply. Right now I don’t have a hosting provider. I was going to park the domain or use it with a blogger blog.

Sounds good. It seems as if the domain was registered with us before it became available again, and the previous owner never removed it from their hosting account. If you would like to park it, change the IP address associated with the A Record(@) to 68.178.232.100. If you want to point it to Blogger, check out this article:

Mapping Your Domain Name to Work with Blogger

Remember that DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate.

Hi! I have decided to park them for some time. I got a reply from support. They said A record has been updated (but the IP in DNS manager is different) and they were talking about name servers. I have chosen the option ‘I want to park my domains ‘. Will this help or I still need to change the A Record (@) to 68.178.232.100

That should work perfectly. Remember to allow time for the update to be visible online.

Hi! It is almost 48 hours and my domain is still routing to old site which does not belong to me. Please tell me what should I do. I have changed the nameservers to ‘park my domain’. Is there something which needs to be done? Please help!

I also saw something in my account which says Authorization Code:Transfer locked until 6/18/2012. What does this mean?

amanb,

the Authorization Code: Transfer locked thingamajig (i think) means that even if you wanted to resell that domain to someone else, you couldn’t until 6/18/2012. If I’m correct, I’d guess that you bought that domain two days ago, and it’s a two month waiting period to resell.

but, I’m very new to this too, so I may be wrong.
