Generally we can issue a refund of your domain registration or renewal within 5-days of the date that the charge occurred. However, there are exceptions to this rule and so I recommend that you check with our Support team if you are wondering about your eligibility for refund. Thanks!

I sent a message to support for a refund of a domain and I did it for three times already and until now I don’t receive any response yet from godaddy. Atleast I am expecting an autoresponse send to my email that they received my message and will response later. I wonder how come they are not responding since it is said that there is an expected time response for 2-3 hours? It is over 12 hours right after they automatically get the money from my card I immediately ask for a refund. Thanks for your reply

Depending on the type of TLD that renewed, the refund timeframe for a single year auto-renewal is 45 days. You will want to check with our Billing Team(billing@godaddy.com) for eligibility and to request the refund.

Can I get my domain refunded online? I only bought it two days ago, so it hasn’t been 5 days yet. Also, after I return the domain, do you put it up for auction, or the domain name is completely discarded? Please reply.
