@Sherrod, my client has locked domain with other registrar and he asked me to transfer his domain on my GoDaddy account. Is this possible or he need to unlock the domain first?

@jbsati – Enter your EPP key as the “Authorization Code” in step 6.

@AleksOH – You’ll need to have your client ‘unlock’ the domain at the current registrar. As this is a security measure to keep your domains safe and in the right owners hands.

@tazcomputers – This all depends on the losing registrar, since they would need to approve the transfer. Most of the better registrars have a method for you to manually approve the transfer. Check to see if they have this feature, if not… hey at least you are transferring away from that mess, but it can take 5 days to approve.
