Tearing my hair out here lol…basically I have deluxe wordpress hosting and a domain associated with it. I’ve made one blog and now have made another(using same hosting) what I need to learn is how to make another unhosted domain that I bought(from GoDaddy) point to this new blog? or is it not possible? any help greatly appreciated!

@anjieliza

You’ll first want to add the domain to the hosting plan and associate it with the folder you setup for the second Wordpress site:

Managing Your Hosting Account Domains

Once the domain is associated with the folder, you’ll want to update your Wordpress configuration to use the new domain name.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Adam for your help, I have done the first part, ie added the second domain to my hosting plan, but I dont follow the second part…probabaly because I should have mentioned that I have Multisite set up and I’m on the shared hosting package. I now need to know what steps to take to make the second blog connect to the second domain name! help!

I’ve never worked with a Wordpress multisite installation personally, but it looks like you’ll need to add a plugin for it to work with multiple domain names. You may want to check out this post I found at:

Hope that helps!
