I accidently deleted al my sites last night on hostgator. 45 to be exact. I am beyond mad at myself. They told me to ontact godaddy to see if you have a backup of my files to my sites. PLEASE HELP!!

If the websites were hosted on Hostgators servers, we would not have copies of your files. You will need to contact your host and inquire about any backups they run automatically, especially if you were in a shared environment.

Yeah, i know that Go Daddy does not have Hostgator backups. I was wondering if Godaddy had back ups for the domains and files with it. Hostgator asked me to check.

If the “files with it” were hosted at Hostgator then no, as Go Daddy does not keep backups of Hostgator hosting accounts.

To continue on @Nate’s comment, files for a website are not associated or stored with a domain. The DNS for your your domain points to a hosting server that contains the files.
