I have bought deluxe windows webspace here.. now I have 3 domains to host but initially it shows my domain “abc.com” as primary domain.. I want to host another domain “def.com” it goes as abc.com/def.com though opening directly def.com working fine.. but I don’t want to keep them seperate.. how to do so? is it like I can host only one domain here? I am not clear with setup at godaddy..

@ketan_kotak

When you add domain names to your deluxe hosting plan, they will have their files located under the primary hosted domain as you stated. You are able to access your site using both def.com and abc.com/def (assuming the directory you have pointed your domain to is ‘def’). You can use a redirect if you are only seeing the full URL abc.com/def in the address bar:

@timb. Thank you so much for information. I will check how to do that.. I mean I never have share hosting mostly I host on dedicated servers on which I have physical console of iis and directories. once again this is the only way it should be done? I mean I can’t have one directory for my primary domain and other directories for other domain and I can assign 10-10 gb space to each instead of 150 gb total to primary domain?

@ketan_kotak – You have 150GB total space for all websites you host under this plan. The Primary as you have noticed is based in the root directory, any additional website would be in a folder off the primary.

You can make requests for abc.com/def.com automatically redirect to def.com
