I currently have my domain pointed at name servers owned by the shared hosting I use, I want to move the domain to a IP address pointed at my dedicated server now what I’ve done is: updated my zone file like so: http://d.pr/lyAt

but you’ll notice it still points to this secureserver.net at the bottom can I delete those?

and my nameservers are still the old ones here: http://d.pr/aodt how do I get rid of those?

Does it matter?

@arcanine,

If you are wanting to point the Zone as in the First screenshot you will need to set the Nameservers to be Parked on our Servers. Once Parked the Zone File will allow you to update the A Record to Point to the Specific IP Address you are wishing to direct the Domain name to:

Setting Nameservers for Your Domain Names
Managing DNS for Your Domain Names
