My Domain Is Not Loading

For some reason, my domain is not loading today. It was just working fine a few days ago and I haven’t made any changes to it since then.

@steverakar
I am currently able to pull up your website. I also checked your site using a 3rd party tracking tool and it appears that your site is accessible from multiple locations around the world. You can check out the results at:
http://host-tracker.com/check_res_ajx/10248159-0/
If you’re unable to access the site from a specific location, you’ll want to run a traceroute to the site to more accurately troubleshoot the connection issue.

Thanks, it seems to be working fine now. Must have just experienced a brief hiccup.

Hello, I am experiencing the same issue yet again. My website will not load. When I try to access it I receive the error code:
Error 137 (net::ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED): Unknown error.
When I check the site using host-tracker, I receive an error from the Amterdam, NL location through Hostmaster Ltd.:
Http error:Http_client.Bad_message(“Unknown reason (e.g. unexpected eof, timeout)”)
When I try to perform a traceroute in Command Prompt, I receive the error:
Unable to resolve target system name steverakar.com
Any insight into the issue would be much appreciated.

@steverakar
I am currently unable to access the site as well. It looks like there may be an issue with the domain’s DNS. You may want to try getting in touch with your hosting provider for additional assistance as it appears the domain’s DNS is not currently under our control.

I tried host-tracker again and this time I received and error for 41 of the 43 locations. They all produced the error message:
Failure(“Domain lookup failure:steverakar.com Exception:Not_found”)

@steverakar
This error indicates there is an issue with the domain’s DNS. You’ll want to get in touch with your hosting provider.

Hmm, my other website through my webhost is working fine, so I just assumed it was a domain-related issue. You’d know more than I would though, so I’ll have a talk with my webhost.
Thanks

@steverakar
I just rechecked the domain’s DNS and it appears to be reporting properly again. I am also able to access the site again. Hopefully you were able to get things squared away!

Thank you for the help. I ended up switching to a new webhost so hopefully this one will be more reliable.
