spf record

I use godaddy.com to host my domain name. However I have my own mail server (exchange 2010) I am having issues sending mail. Do I need to create a spf record on my dns controller and on godaddy.com? If I do on godaddy.com does anyone have a link to explain how the record should look for godaddy?
Thanks

I’m not sure if adding the SPF will resolve the issue you are having, but you can use the following thread for steps on how to add your SPF record to your zone file as well as what the resulting output looks like:

@crazyxbowler
You would want to select an ISP or another mail provider for this setting as you will not be sending mail through our servers.
