Hello,

I’ve downloaded and used the easy database add-in for excel before and then suddenly it isn’t showing up. I tried reinstalling it and it says it is installed all ready. I have excel 2010. How can I make it show up again?

Hi,

To fully uninstall the Excel Add-in in preparation for a new install, please go to your operating system’s control panel and select, if Windows 7, Uninstall a program under the Programs category. Once in the Uninstall section, look for the item labeled, “Falcon.AddIn”. This is the program that you want to uninstall. You can go ahead and uninstall or if using the XP operating system click on the Remove button.

Once the uninstall is complete, you should be able to log back into you Easy Database account and re-download and install the Excel Add-In.

Hope that helps,
MO

@pildesign,

Excel has a few different “Ribbon Tabs” in the header. To see the Easy Database Add-in you want to make sure you are on the Home tab.

If you still cannot find it you can uninstall everything

1. Delete Falcon.AddIn from Excel Options/Add-Ins/Manage: COM Add-ins.

2. Delete Falcon.AddIn from Control Panel/Add & Remove Programs.

3. Delete Office AddIn cache from (delete the files in these directories):

Windows 7/Vista – C:UsersAppDataLocalApps2.0
XP – C:Documents and SettingsLocal SettingsApps2.0

4. Download the Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=20479

5. Reinstall the Add-in.

Let me know if that helps,

DS
