It sounds like you’re trying to login to Easy Database through Excel. You’ll need to make sure that you’ve downloaded the Excel add-in and are following all of the steps and have a compatible Excel version. Check out this article for all of the details:

Hi,
This error is likely caused by content types (also known as MIME types) not being registered correctly on your pc.
Please make sure that the .NET Framework 2.0 is installed on your computer. If the .NET Framework 2.0 is installed, and you are still seeing this problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling the .NET Framework 2.0 to re-register the content type on your pc.
If .Net Framework 2.0 is not installed, please go to the following site and install the framework to correct this problem:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=1639
If it is installed, please go to your add and remove programs in the control panel and uninstall and go to the the Microsoft site and download and re-install.
Let me know if this helps,

We added some MIME types to our server. Will you try again and let us know it helps? Sorry for the trouble. We’re trying to debug this issue as quickly as possible.

Hi,
The issue may be with missing information in your registry for the downloading and installing of the office/Outlook Add-Ins. The suggestion for resolving this problem for some pcs is twofold. The first fix we made was on our servers. The second fix is on the client or your pc. According to Microsoft the client’s registry may be missing an entry in the registry that prevents this download from work correctly.
Microsoft’s suggestion is to install or repair the .Net Framework 2.0, even though you have .Net Framework 3.5 installed. This download can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=1639. Since I’m not sure what Windows operating system you are using there are three choices you have depending upon your pc’s OS. When this install or repair is complete the necessary entries that permit the download and install to work should be available. Once the repair or installation is complete please reboot your pc and retry the download.

I went to following Microsoft site, http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=23656, downloaded, installed and then re-tried the Excel Add-In and it worked! Problem solved! Add-it works great!
