Does GoDaddy offer any 2-factor auth? I don’t see a way to log into my webmail or GoD acct securely from a public terminal.

We do not offer 2 factor authentication for our web based email or account access. Keep in mind that once logged in, you are switched to a secured connection(HTTPS).

Let us know if we can be of further assistance,

Jason

Thanks, Jason. Keep in mind that MIM attacks on HTTPS connections are possible, and that even some “free” webmail providers, such as GMail now offer 2-factor auth…

+1 for 2-factor authentication.

I think this is very important security feature and should be implemented at least in Godaddy.com account login.

The simplest implementation for this could just be a mobile app (Android/iPhone) similar to Gmail and Blizzard.

I just heard the news and it’s good to know that this is already implemented albeit to US clients only.

I highly suggest implementing a mobile app just like the Google Authenticator so you can cater to international users at no extra carrier costs. Godaddy can actually make use of the Google Authenticator since it’s open source.
