552 – Error Question

Hello there. I need some assistance. We run a marketing/consulting company and we send quite a few emails out for our customers on a daily basis. For the past couple of weeks, we are having intermittant issues where we are getting the dreaded “552″ error (saying emails are failing due to spam or unwanted content). These aren’t even getting to outlook and are being rejected completely. On the next day, we do the same thing and it works fine. I need some help. Today is one of those days where it refuses to work (last Friday was the same thing).

Is there something we can do to overcome this? It’s putting a huge stress on our situation as we are unable to do anything.

Help!

This error typically indicates that there is something within the email that is triggering our spam filters. You may want to try removing any links from the email to see if a link is triggering the filter. If you continue to have trouble, feel free to forward a copy of the email to our 24 hour support team so our tech guys can review the email to determine the cause of the rejection.

But it’s basically the same email we have been sending for about 16 months — and now all of a sudden it’s not working. But yesterday it was working fine, but last Friday it wasn’t. That’s the stressful part.
