Do emails get automatically deleted after a while?

Greetings! I have the following question: I am wondering if emails get deleted after a while. For example when I log into Go Daddy I see 9 “pages” of emails. When I go to page 9 the earliest emails that I have available are from April 11, 2012. I have a total of 809 messages. What happened to the earlier emails? Did they disappear? Why? Why doesn’t Go Daddy save these indefinitely?

What you have described is usually caused by one of two things. The first if that if you are using an email client, such as Outlook, the email client might be configured to delete email messages that have been downloaded after a certain period of time. Information on configuring your email client to keep emails on the email server can be reviewed here:
The other possibility is if Auto Purge is setup on your email account. If Auto Purge is enabled, emails will automatically be deleted after a certain amount of days. Information on Auto Purge can be reviewed in this article for managing folders in your email:
