Email address already exist

I want to create an email user account under the domain which I own and registered through GoDaddy.com, however I can’t pick an specific username and I get the following error message “Emal address already exist”. Need to mention that I had my domain and email services hosted through Microsoft Hotmail until last week but now that I transferred everything over to GoDaddy, I assume as the owner and administrator of the domain should have the ability to create a new email address.

Generally when you encounter an error indicating an address already exists under that name, it means the address in question has already been setup within our email system. By any chance, has the address in question previously been specified under another service like an Email Forwarding Account?
The other possibility is that the address in question was setup under another customer account. If you have control of the domain name in question and cannot locate the address in any other account you have access to, I would advise reaching out to our Live Support via phone or email so that this matter can be further investigated and addressed.
