Email forwarding error

When I try to forward an email, it gives me an error telling me, “That forwarding address is already in use.” I am forwarding an email that I just created (with an inbox, 1G storage, etc) to another email. Should I cancel the email account itself?

If the email address is already setup as a standard email address, you would not be able also set it up as a forwarding address. If you do not want to use it as a standard email address, you can delete the existing address and set it up as a forwarding email address. If you would like to continue using it as a standard email address, but also forward emails to another email address, you can configure the email address to send Carbon Copies to another email address. Information on Enabling the CC feature can be reviewed in this article:
