Emails not arriving
Billinge said 3 years ago:
I’m signed up for several newsletters, such a the Money Saving Expert newsletter, but this an some other emails just don’t get through. I have lots of other newsletters which get through, but moneysavingexpert.com and twitter emails (possibly other, but I don’t know) just don’t get through.
Twitter have marked my account as not authorised, restricting what I can do, because I’ve not been able to verify my email address.
I’ve added the MSE and twitter addresses to my safe lists, and set security low.
Emails are forwarded from another domain to my GoDaddy address, but they I know they get there ok, as I moved my email service from there to GoDaddy, and it’s only since then that I’m having problems.
can someone advise?

You said that you are having messages forwarded through another address. Does this happen if you bypass the forwarding and have the emails sent directly to the address you created with us?
If the messages are being rejected by our system, their should be a bounceback messages being delivered. If you can provide this to our Support team, they will be able to further investigate. You can reach them through the methods at http://support.godaddy.com/support

all other emails arrive without issue, it appears. As the emails which don’t arrive are bulk emails, newsletters or notifications from Twitter, I cannot access any bounce back emails received by the resender.
Are there any email characteristics which would block such emails.
FYI, I just tried forwarding an MSE emails from my work account, to my external domains which forwards to my GoDaddy account, and my GoDaddy account direct. Both got through.

It’s very hard to determine why a message wouldn’t be received without a bounce back message. If you were able to forward the messages from the external address and they arrived successfully, there shouldn’t be any content in the message that is triggering a spam filter on our email servers. Have you tried having this message sent directly to your Go Daddy email address, without being forwarded from anywhere?

Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this?
I signed up for GoDaddy the other month and I’m having exactly the same issue with MoneySavingExpert emails. I stopped receiving them when I switched to GoDaddy and now I don’t even get a notification email when I sign up again. Get it delivered straight away when I sign up via a Yahoo email address though.
I’ve been told people who’ve sent email that hasn’t arrived have NOT received a bounce-back.

I’m having the same issue as well. Many sources, including ETrade, don’t make it through and, of course, I can’t get to the bounce message they are receiving. I also see absolutely nothing in my Bulk folder. Where does the SPAM go? Don’t I have a way to review whay GoDaddy thinks is SPAM?

Unless the email is rejected at the server level, in which case a bounce back will be sent, any email that is marked as spam will more than likely be delivered to your Bulk folder. Keep in mind that your own account settings may control this.
