For the past few days we have been sending fine, but the receiver doesn’t receive the email for about an hour. Something we need to do/change on our end? Anyone else having this issue lately?

Something like this can have a few causes.

The best way for us to troubleshoot this would be to see the headers of an email that was received with a delay like that. You can provide them here, however, you must remove any email addresses.

Otherwise, the easiest way to get those to us is to forward a .EML of the received email to support@godaddy.com. We can get what we need out of the headers and you don’t have to try to modify them to post them here.

Either way, we’ll be happy to help you out.

We did have a recent issue regarding our email which you can find more information on here:

http://support.godaddy.com/system-alerts/

Are you still experiencing these issues or have they been resolved?

We are still experiencing this delay. I just received an email my colleague sent to me 2 hours ago. GoDaddy’s response: “Please note that due to queuing it can take up to 2 to 4 hours for Emails to be sent through your account.” Really? The strange thing is that it hasn’t been this way for us in the past, that we’ve noticed. Why now?

@classicwines

I am not aware of any recent message queuing, but the best way for us to look into this issue would be to provide email headers to our Support Team for review.

What are Email Headers?
