Hi,

Hoping someone can help. We purchased a domain a few weeks back, then added the 5 extra email accounts as part of one of the plans. Have set up a few email accounts and have subsequently set the up in outlook. Outlook sends and receives find to the pop boxes set up. Emails will send out no problem, however nothing is incoming.

When I try to send to any of the accounts I’ve set up (from a different address) I receive the message:

Failed Recipient:
reason: remote host said: 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected

Everything looks ok as far as I can tell in the control panel, can anyone shed some light, I’d be very grateful.

Thanks in advance

@slartibartfast,

If the email addresses were just created within the Email Control Center interface, you will need to allow at least 24 hours for the setup of the accounts to fully complete. If you are still encountering these specific bounce errors after 24 hours, I would recommend reaching out to our Live Support via phone or email so we can further investigate the addresses in question.

We fixed this problem ourselves by changing the region from a European package to the North American email package, as the domain is a .ca everything setup fine but wouldn’t work on the default EU package.

@sumonray,

Have you checked to make sure your domain name is pointing to the proper MX records required for your domain name? If not, you will want to refer to the information provided in the following article:

Checking Your MX Record Settings in the Email Control Center

@maxihat,

The errors you are describing sound similar to @maxihat. Generally our Live Support team is quick to respond to a ticket within the first 24 hours. Have they had a chance to review your account and confirm if these records were not properly set?
