When I read emails on my iPhone, it does not update the email as “read” when I sign into my email account through godaddy workspace webmail from my iPad or laptop.

Is there a way to fix this?

@fvb,

Are you setup on POP3 or IMAP? If you are only pulling the messages through POP3 the information is not synced between the devices to indicate when content is read. This is a feature that only an IMAP enabled address would have.

Keep in mind that only our Unlimited Email plans support IMAP enabled addresses. If your existing addresses are not under an Unlimited plan, you are welcome to upgrade at any time for this feature:

I don’t mind upgrading to unlimited email. What is the difference in price? How would I change the set-up on my iPhone to IMPA to support syncing between devices?

@fvb,

Price differences; as well as features, between each of our email plans are fully listed on our Email Plans page.

Not knowing the current plan in your account now, I could only confirm that our Unlimited Plans start at $3.19 per month with 10 email addresses and unlimited storage to allocate between them. You can add additional addresses in packages of 10; if necessary, at any time using the same upgrade instructions I had previously listed.

As for the settings to specify for IMAP functionality, you will want to refer to the information provided in the following article for the specific ports and servers to use:
