Is the email down?

I have been trying for 20 minutes to open my email and I am either told that my username or password is incorrect (It has been the same for 2 years, so it is NOT incorrect) or the page just goes blank. Is the site down?

@comeonalready,
We are aware of an issue on some of our email servers that may be affecting some customers. Our Email team has been notified and is working to correct this issue as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific time frame for this issue to be corrected, but we are attempting to correct it as soon as we can.

If that is the case then could the “Known Issues” section be updated to notify customers of the known email issue?
If you think it’s been resolved then I don’t think it is as I’m still receiving “incorrect user detail” or “cannot connect to email server” error messages sporadically.

Oh I should add that I am based in Australia and am using the pop.asia.secureserver.net POP3 server.

Mike42, has any headway been made on this issue? I have sporadic users reporting this issue.

@jryandrum
There are no reported issues at this time. What specific error are you encountering?

Jason, Email Clients were prompting for the imap server password. When entered it would simply pop back up. The issue was sporadic and hasent occurred in about an hour, so hoping its resolved. Wasnt sure if there was a server side issue as mentioned by Mike42.

Also having issues with clients asking for password. It has been happening on and off all morning and is definitely not resolved yet, as it happened a few minutes ago.

You might try syncing the email addresses from within the account. After launching the Email Control Center, click on the address is question, and without making any edits, click OK. This will complete the process, and alleviate the error you are receiving.

I am not sure what the issue is… but Go Daddy over the past few months has cost me my reputation and business opportunities. The fact that we can not seem to send or receive emails ( depending on the day and the latest go daddy issue) is extremely disturbing… I too am having the same issues with not being able to recieve emails on my outlook and stating that my password is in correct.. Not so much.. Come on Go Daddy… get it right or stop your commericals..

I too am having this same issue. I am a Realtor, and my business needs a reliable email. I use Mac Mail, and about once a month it decides to download ALL of my mail, (almost 3 years worth) and completely shuts down my email system. I put all my old mail in folders and that seemed to help, but now it is asking for my password over and over and over and over again, only to tell me that it is incorrect and cannot communicate with go daddy. If we can’t get this working, I am going to switch. I MUST have reliable email.

Same problem here: all our IMAP accounts have been down since yesterday. I called Go Daddy and the technician was clueless. He said that he will “resync” all accounts and that I should retry in 30 minutes. It’s been an hour and no go. It’s time to switch all our domains and email accounts to another provider as Go Daddy has officially dropped the ball. Can anyone recommend a more reliable company?
